Types of maintenance oversight can include but are not limited to the following:

- Remote review of landing gear or engine shop visits.
- Observation of the heavy maintenance input (usually structural inspections).
- Bare Metal Inspections and oversight of paint inputs.
- Modification packages.
- Placing aircraft into storage.
- Reactivating aircraft following a period of inactivity.
