Aerotech International can supply either specific specialist assistance or a full team to manage the transition of your aircraft between operators or acceptance prior to parking or part out. We can inspect your aircraft and records to ensure compliance with lease return covenants and manage any required modifications and packaging of the records prior to their presentation to the next customer.
Types of transition we support:
Redelivery – Aircraft is being redelivered from the current Lessee to the Lessor pursuant to a Lease Agreement and without immediate onward delivery to a new customer.
Delivery – Aircraft is being delivered by the Lessor to a new customer (either a lessee or a buyer) after a period of downtime where all responsibility and cost for the delivery falls on the Lessor (as lessor or seller).
Back-to-Back – Aircraft is being redelivered from the current Lessee to the Lessor pursuant to a Lease Agreement (or delivered from a Seller to the Lessor as purchaser pursuant to a purchase agreement) and at the same time being delivered by the Lessor to a new customer (either a lessee or buyer).
Part Out – The aircraft fuselage will ultimately be scrapped once the project is complete. Usually, the main focus is on the maintenance records, in particular any components, back to birth traceability on landing gear and engines, and any other removable structures which may be of value; there may be less focus on the rest of the fuselage. Any requirements will be detailed in the purchase agreement.
