Darren brings more than three decades of aviation technical leadership, with extensive expertise in CAMO, aircraft transitions, maintenance planning, and regulatory compliance across commercial and VIP operations.
Darren began his career with Manx Airlines and BA Connect (1990–2007), progressing to the role of Manager of Maintenance Scheduling, Planning, Technical Records, and Outsourced Aircraft Maintenance. In this senior leadership position, he was responsible for coordinating complex maintenance programmes, overseeing technical documentation, and managing third-party maintenance providers to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
In 2007, Darren became Director of Aviotech IOM Ltd providing CAMO services to several airlines. During this time, he also managed over 40 aircraft lease returns.
Since 2012, Darren has served as Director of NWS IOM Ltd, delivering CAMO services to several start-up airlines and overseeing a range of aircraft transition projects. Through an alliance with Chevron Technical Services, has contributed to numerous aircraft dismantling and modification programmes across various customer projects.
Since 2020, Darren has worked with Aerotech as an Aircraft Technical Consultant, offering specialist expertise in airworthiness management, fleet transitions, and complex technical projects.
With a strong track record in aircraft lifecycle management—from entry into service to lease return and dismantling—Darren combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical knowledge, making him a trusted advisor in continuing airworthiness and aircraft asset management.
